Wheel Throwing Course & Individual Sessions
"In the middle of the night, a woman sits alone at a pottery wheel. Her boyfriend, shirtless, approaches, sits behind her, and reaches out his hand, accidentally ruining her pot. His hands interlaced with hers, stroking the wet clay. He begins kissing her, and she leaps into his arms, the pottery wheel abandoned in the heat of passion." This is the scene from the Ghost movie everyone have in mind when they think of pottery.
We can't offer you the same experience but we guarantee you will enjoy the world of clay at Mitra Ceramic House.
The Wheel throwing Course includes 6 sessions which you will learn about:
-
Different clay types
-
Wedging clay
-

Combination Clay Course
We can’t all be a modern Picasso, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give your inner artist a chance.
All of our classes focus on the process, rather than the end result of art. Here, we consider that each piece of art created is a masterpiece.
This class is mainly for those who would like a mixture of wheel throwing and hand-building lessons to find out which one they would like to continue exploring.
In one session you will get a taste of what it is like to throw a pot on the potter's wheel.
You will also learn one technique of hand building. (Pinch, coil or slab build)
